It's a weekly podcast featuring long-form interviews about one of New York City's most pressing public health and racial justice issues: birth. Taja Lindley is a member of Echoing Ida and some of her work is featured in this forthcoming collection published by Feminist Press. Rooted in Black Queer feminism and womanism, it features a talented line up of brilliant Black women and non-binary writers (members of Echoing Ida) as well as a foreword by Michelle Duster- an activist and great-granddaughter of Ida B. In collaboration with ipade', Taja Lindley will be leading a virtual healing workshop for womxn of color. This workshop is designed to support participants with transforming, transmuting and composting what no longer serves us, making space for new intentions, new desires and new experiences.
