The Inaugural event of the The Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security and Conflict Transformation (WCAPS) Art Forum with a night of art, conversation and contemplation. A screening of Taja Lindley’s short film, "This Ain’t A Eulogy: A Ritual for Re-Membering," 2017 (10 mins) will be the foundation for a discussion between the artist and WCAPS founder, Ambassador Bonnie D. Jenkins, and an examination of the intersections of women, race, and dignity in our society.

#ArtPowerWomen is a pro bono collaboration between Art Zealous, Curatious and GirlSeesArt highlighting important, unrepresented artists. The series kicked off this month featuring Taja Lindley's artwork. Read her interview with Art Zealous where she discusses spirituality, burlesque, socially engaged artwork, and the one year anniversary of This Ain't A Eulogy: A Ritual for Re-Membering film.
